Ransom Riggs creates an amazing story that stays with you. Miss Peregrines Home For Peculiar Children is about a young boy named Jacob. A family tragedy occurs sending Jacob to an abandoned orphanage, where it becomes clear this was no ordinary orphanage. He begins to wonder if the children were being held there for a reason.
This story is amazing and I fell in love with the characters. The story was never boring and never annoying. This book is out of the ordinary and very easy to like. I don't think I have ever heard a bad review about this book. It has some pictures in the novel to tie-in with the story. This story is a one of a kind and worth every penny that you decide to spend on it. I higly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a spine-tingiling tale of adventure.
There is a second but it will not be released until next year in 2013. A movie may or may not be coming out, but most of what is being talked about is that there will be a movie.

Andrea Cremer creates a novel of love, supernatural and making the right choices. Calla Tor is a werewolf, who fell in love with a human boy she met. His name is Shay and he feels the same way about her. But Calla is already promised to Ren, the Bane pack Alpha. Now Calla must choose who to pick. The one meant for her or the one she loves?
Nightshade was given to me over a bet between one of my friends. I am very happy I won that bet and won that I got to read this book. I am more proud that all 3 of the books were out when I got this book. It was so easy to read this book, and I whipped through the book in 4 days. It was very well written. Calla's character was very strong. I do love to read books with strong female protaganists, so that was awesome for me. Shay was awesome, and sorry to the Ren fans, but I say go Shay! Ren's character didn't do it for me. He was annoying, and Ren, message to you: You can't make a girl like you by dating other girls! The pack mates were amazing and at the end of the book I found myself wanting oh-so-much-more! I want to say, great job Andrea!
The second is called Wolfsbane and the third is called Bloodrose. Andrea Cremer is creating prequels called Rift and Rise. I will post about those when I get the chance.

I loved both of those books! If you haven't read Miss Peregrines Home For Peculiar Children then do so now. If you like werewolves and romance, go for Nightshade.
