Perks of Being of Wallflower

Sorry I was gone for so long, but I finished this a while ago, but here is the review.

Perks of Being a Wallflower is about a boy named Charlie and his life in high school. He write all of this in letters, although we do not know who they are being sent to. Charlie gets friends, and he tells his story while learning about everything there is to learn about in high school.

Stephen Chbosky wrote one book, and it is still popular today. When I picked up this book I thought, He must have done somthing right, and he did. This book is still popluar for a reason, and that is because it is amazing writing and they really do capture the social scene. I really liked how Stephen wrote in the Wallflowers point of view. Charlie was a perfect character to be the main, and his friends were perfect. Sam and Patrick were the perfect duo. I like the relationship between Patrick and Charlie. It really shows what friends are. The relationship between Sam and Charlie was so cute, I like the way that Charlie cares for her. It showed what love really is.

I can't wait for the movie release, for September 20th. I will do a review for the movie later.

Perfect Chemistry Review

Sorry that I didn't do this sooner, but I finished this on the 24th of August.

Sweet Review
3 Stars

Perfect Chemistry is about two teens in high school. One is Brittany, she puts on a facade that she is perfect, but her life is most certanily not. Then there is Alex, the mexicano who doesn't really fit in, only with his friends. Brittany and Alex become chemistry partners, but then Alex is put up for a dare. He trys to get Brittany to like him, but he ends up to start liking her himself. Its alternating point of views between Brittany and Alex.

I really did enjoy this book. The chemistry is really beautiful, and Alex is so sweet to Brittany. I like how Alex was so calm in any situation and always had a comeback for anyone. Brittany was very annyoing in the beginning, but throughout the book becomes more loveable. I loved how Brittany and Alex worked together. This book really was Perfect Chemistry. Lovable, heartbreaking and perfect. Simone Elkeles, you are an amazing authour. Please don't stop.

Sometimes It Happens

Sorry this is so late, but I finished this yesterday. I'll try to keep this one spoiler free, but it might include spoliers, but nothing past the ninteith page. Here's the review:

Sour Review
 1 Star
Sometimes It Happens is about a girl named Hannah who just got dumped by her boyfriend on the last day of junior year. Ava, her best friend, says she'll be there for her throughout the whole thing, but later tells her she's going away for the summer. Hannah is left on her own, when a boy from school, Noah, gives her a job and they start to like eachother. Problem? Noah is Ava's boyfriend. The book alternates between the summer and the first day of senior year.

Sometimes It Happens was a waste of my time. I had higher expectations after reading Two Way Street, but it was horrible. Sorry, Lauren. This was exactly like Something Like Fate (Susane Colasanti) but with more mature disscusions. Lets start with the characters. Hannah is the opposite of what girls must be today. She complained and was always obsessing over Sebastion if he was thinking of her, why he hasn't called, why he kissed her (List goes on). Then she obsesses with Noah, why isn't he talking to me, is he thinking of me, do I have feelings for him (Once again the list goes on). The chapters about the summer took up most the book, as apposed to the first day of senior year it was about five to ten pages each. At about ninety pages in a senior year chapter you figure out Noah and Hannah slept together, so they just screwed the summer chapters. All the summer does now is see how the chemistry grew (Which wasn't interesting, might I add) and fill in a few small questions. I only finished to see if any twists came in that weren't expected. Well, the ending was most definitly unexpected. Horrible ending.

Two Way Street Review

Two Way Street Review. I started it earlier yesterday, and finished it at 2:30pm today.

Sweet Review
3 Stars
Two Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt is about a young couple. They are both going into college, so they plan a roadtrip to go together. The problem? Jordan broke up with Courtney about two weeks before the trip, for a girl he met on the internet! Now, she is still stuck going on the trip. She pretends she doesn't care, but in a strange turn of events, Jordan cares. It turns out, he has a sercet or two.

Two Way Street was very well written, and it was alternating POV's, which I love. I love seeing both sides of the story. It is also alternating between the trip and what happened before. This story was very good and fun to read. Seeing the story unfold was pretty cool. Courtney was the girl protaganist. I liked her, but she came off as arrogant, but in the end I probably would have done the same thing. Jordan was the male protaganist. Courtneys amazing boyfriend who abrutly ended it. I found him very charming, but in one scene with the call I got very irritated. The background friends were Jocelyn and B.J. I didn't really like them. B.J. was always drunk, and Jocelyn wasn't in the book enough for me to tell much about her, but she is loyal and that is always a good trait. I recommend this to anyone who likes fun summer reads.

DUFF Book Review

Hey guys, I know I just bought this book yesterday, but I finished it this morning and couldn't stop until it was done.

Sweet Review
3.5/10 Stars
The DUFF is Kody Keplingers debut novel. This book is about seventeen year old Bianca. When Wesley, the girl-using guy, nicknames her the DUFF (The Designated Ugly Fat Friend), she threw her coke in his face. In a strange turn of events she ends up kissing him, and liking it. She threw herself into a relationship with the one person she couldn't stand. Though she dosen't like Wesley, she tells him about her screwed up life. As it turns out, he is a great listener and he has a screwed up life too. A little to late, Bianca realises that she is falling for the one guy she couldn't stand. And she is falling hard.

The DUFF is an amazing story about heartbreak, first loves and finding the one. Bianca was a very loyal person, but the way she acts makes you want to dislike her. Wesley was the girl-using man that reluctantly agreed to be used. Watching the story unfold was very amazing. Bianca ends up looking at her situation and finally realising what the DUFF really is and what it means to her. The story was amazing and I plan to read other Keplinger novels. I recommend this to anyone who wants a quick story about finding the one.

Onyx Book Review

Onyx came out on August 14th and I bought it. I finished it later in the day and here is my review.

Sweet Review
4 Stars
Onyx is the second installment in this alien romance book. Katy and Daemon are bonded and he trys to prove to her how much he really does like her. The DOD is now here and Katy is cat risk, as well as all other Luxen. They come closer to figuring out about Dawson and Bethanys romance and what happened.

I did like this book way better than the first. On August 13th it was the 3'000th somthing payed in Kindle store and on August 14th at about 4:00pm it was 30th paid. Wow!!! I loved the connection between Katy and Daemon. Daemon isn't really a jackass anymore. Katy grows so much in this book. I loved everything. The romance, the jealously and the action. I can't even express how good it was. The romance is a big step up from the first book. This book doesn't dissapoint and the series just keep getting better and better. Katy is an amazing character and a book blogger! I loved the scence when Daemon helps here do an "In My Mailbox" video. I can't wait for Opal, and will leave an image of the 3rd book cover. I'm not sure if it is the exact cover, but its down there to see.
